The sources to the familiar-alike distribution for balloon including 2.4.19 and 2.4.25 kernel sources are now available from http://195.38.94.206/balloon/

In utils/gpio there are some files illustrating gpio usage. There are a couple of insmod-able binaries for 2.4.19/2.4.25 that give access to the GPIO/CPLD and other registers via /proc and source to a trivial test program to access GPIOs from user space via mmap.
