A first cut at 2.6.8.1-tcl1 for the balloon sa1110 based cpu board is available on http://husaberg.toby-churchill.com/balloon/ if anyone is interested. As well as balloon specific support, added to the stock kernel is l3 bus, uda1341 oss sound, yaffs filesystem. Pcmcia support is present but untested as yet. The sa1110 udc (usb device) support is also working with improved dma misalignment handling (ie it works). Suspend/resume issues with mtd has been fixed too (kernel thread didn't suspend). Audio support is mute on resume at the moment but I'll fix that one soon. Cross compilation with arm-linux-gcc v3.3.4 (Debian) is confirmed to work on sa1110 target - unlike 2.4.25. We (TCL) have received a mainstone development board for pxa270. I will try and run up linux on this when I get some support from Intel or elsewhere. The claimed linux support seems not to exist yet so I must try an cobble something together. Dose anyone have any sample builds/clues? Clearly 2.6.8.1 has some minimal mainstone support but I was hoping for rather more to get started with. I have seen http://ftp.kelp.or.kr/pub/arm-linux/people/xscale/mainstone/04-28-2004/ and have downloaded blob. Also, I was given http://pcgse.hd.intel.com/software_releases/bulverde.htm but the domain that doesn't exist. Is this a typo for something that really exists? Nick Bane
