Some people can get a solution working with "Sergey's > patch" - found on the list, but this does not always work. Would you care to elaborate, please? When this does NOT work? It's straight from MTD NAND API, it MUST work. Please give me an example of some non-exotic setup where it doesn't work. I'm curious how can somebody make it not work? And I'd like to fix those "non-working" cases. Please give me specifics, don't try to get away with meaningless "does not always work". And please tell the entire list auditorium why those patches are NOT in the source tree yet? Even if you really have a case when it's not working (that I doubt), it _"does not always work"_ vs your source that NEVER EVER worked. Isn't it better to have something that works at least in some cases? I do understand that I'm not among your faithful worshippers but this is simply ridiculous... --- ****************************************************************** * KSI@home KOI8 Net < > The impossible we do immediately. * * Las Vegas NV, USA < > Miracles require 24-hour notice. * ******************************************************************
