Paul's nmessage was posted in Feb (just in case you hadn't noticed). 

I have just dealt with 41 mails which have accumulated in the
moderation queue in the last 7 months but missing mail aliases meant
that the list management (Nick and me) didn't get sent mail telling us
to deal with it. THis has resulted in a few very old, but genuine
mails being delivered (largely for historical interest).

It does seem to be from my initial tests. I have written mail about
this which will get sent shortly.
