Should I expect this to work on filesystem that works fine on 2.6.16.5 (in particular 2.6.16.5-tcl1 on a Balloon2)? I have no problem booting this kernel on the board, but a 2.6.18-rc5 kernel with latest YAFFS CVS and your patch gives the following errors: yaffs: dev is 32505860 name is "mtdblock4" yaffs: Attempting MTD mount on 31.4, "mtdblock4" block 2 is bad (lots more "block is bad" messages up to 309) yaffs tragedy: existing chunk < 0 in scan (repeats) It's possible the problem is NAND driver related, as that has obviously changed between 2.6.16.5 and 2.6.18-rc5, but I was wondering if this is expected to work before I go chasing down the wrong route.
