Nick has just informed me, and I've confirmed independently, that he's sorted bootldr out so that it should now support loon2 and 3 with 512byte or 2K page size NANDs and the XC3S1000 FPGA. It has also regained the ability to write to NOR flash, which is a relief ;-) The only known fly in the ointment at the moment is that when writing files using 'yaffs write ' the resulting filesystem isn't compatible with yaffs in 2.6 kernels. However, 'load root' and so on work fine. I have created a tag for the source of this bootldr in svn at /balloon/tags/E1-bootldr-unified-stable-20061012. I've also updated the FPGA code to add pullups to SDA and SCL since the FPGA appeared to be fighting the pullup resistors in some odd way. It also now passes LCD_PCLK through to LPCLK_OUT correctly. This is tagged at /balloon/tags/E1-fpga-I2C-and-LCD-fix-20061012 and is about to be tested with some of CUED's I2C stuff.
