OK - the viewcvs web-based access to the yaffs cvs repository is now working
again (it's just taken me the best part of 2 hours to work out that there
was an 's' missing off the end of 'websites' in my apache config which was
why nothing was working - mutter).
A side effect is that mailman and analog and all sorts of other goodies are
now also working :-)
