Subject: RE: [Balloon] Protel design for add-on boards
I have connector and layout which have been manufactured (moderately
successfully+). The Hydra PSU board matches up mechanically OK with the
Balloon and the mounting holes line up etc.
I could generate a blank board as a Protel file if Steve hasn't already
done this.
(+ due to a routing "mistake" a track was routed over one of the QSE
mounting pegs so this didn't get drilled, hence there is a small chance
its in the wrong place, the opposite mounting peg hole is in the right
place and the pads all line up OK).

Cheers

David

P.S One Hydra board is up and running and the switcher, Batt charger and
GPS seem to be working OK, still lots to go....

Steve particularly,

The balloon website talks about Protel files being available for the
add-on
board connector layout. But there aren't actually any there yet. Do they
exist or do they still need creating?
