Hi YAFFSers
Some great news for yaffs and Linux:
1) Todd Poynor has stepped up to help out with Linux things on YAFFS and will
help take over what Marty is doing. They live/work close to eachother so
hopefully that will help the transitions.
2) Vitaly Wool has been working very hard over the last few weeks to make
things far cleaner in mtd land for NAND. Of particular interest is that he
has put together some patches which fix the OOB handling so that the
YAFFS2<->mtd interface will now "just work". And YAFFS2 should then just
become a kernel drop-in that requires no effort on the part of the
integrator. Once the mtd patches are in place in the mtd CVS, we'll sort the
YAFFS side.
