[Yaffs] Hi problem with yaffs

I have followed the following procedure for building the yaffs image.

$ mkyaffsimage /etc fs.yaffs ' '

$ flash_eraseall /dev/mtd/6

$ mkyaffs -e /dev/mtd/6 fs.yaffs

$ mount -t yaffs /dev/mtdblock/6 /tmp/mtd/6


But every time I mount and see the mtd/8 I only found lost+found directory.
I am not able to see the rest of the directories.

Can anybody please help me I am new bee to yaffs.
