[Yaffs] Checkpoint scanning on new devices

When using YAFFS2, the first time you mount a completely clean device,
it spends a while looking for checkpoint information that doesn't exist.

Is there anyway to tell it to not do this?

I noticed a post a while ago from Charles,

in which he mentions that he might add some mount flags to do this. Do
you know if this is still likely?
