This doesn't seem to have been applied yet. I know this sort of tidyup
is slightly tiresome, but applying it will save a lot of downstream
tidying (I've already had to clean it all up twice for the balloon svn
repo), and improve the kernl-worthiness of our code.
Does anyone object violently to applying this?
If not I'll apply it in a week or so.
