[Yaffs] yboot - ECC not applied to tags?

Hi all,

I was just taking a peek at the yaffs1 bootloader, yboot, and it seems
to not use yaffs_Tags.ecc anywhere. Is this an oversight?

Another thing: given that yboot doesn't support rename shadowing,
what'll happen if power fails midway through a firmware swap? Will it
just boot the old firmware, after which yaffs2 will clean things up?

Does anyone use yboot?
