I tried using the 3rd bank of RAM as a ramdisk and encountered formatting
errors that reduced with re-formatting suggesting some sort of ram-itis.

When Marek got 3 banks working as per the above her confirmed that he got
ram erors too so although the principle looks sound it doesn't mean we can
actually use it unfortunately.

DB knows about it and was going to look into it.
