[Yaffs] Unexplained corruption in old version of YAFFS2

Hi

I have picked up bit of legacy work and am seeing unexplained
corruption of the FS.

The code that is being used is rather old, it shows :-

$Id: devextras.h,v 1.1.1.1 2009/06/10 08:01:15 WHA Exp $

It is being used in Linux 2.6.10 on what is basically a Ti DM355
DaVinci platform.

I am getting a situation where the root FS is getting corrupted, and
that is making booting
impossible.

The FS is being unmounted correctly at shutdown but randomly is being corrupted.
I am not sure if it is bootup or shutdown where the problem happens.

Reflashing the unit clears the problem, until it happens next time.

Any ideas please....
