It's quite likely to be a driver problem causing the YAFFS tags to be
lost or mangled somewhere along the line.
In a previous mail to this list you were talking about using the
inbandTags option; might you have mounted the partition one time with
that option and another time without? That would also explain it.
Is there some other process accessing the NAND and corrupting its contents?
