Subject: Re: [Yaffs] yaffs2 fails
I was able to fix my problem by adding the following code to nandmtd2_write_chunk_tags() function:

    struct yaffs_dev *dev_copy;
    dev_copy = kmalloc(sizeof(struct yaffs_dev), GFP_KERNEL);
    if (dev_copy) {
        memcpy(dev_copy, dev, sizeof(struct yaffs_dev));
        yaffs_trace(YAFFS_TRACE_OS, "made a copy of device structure");
    }

    .
    .
    .
    .

    kfree(dev_copy);

I am not sure why this worked.
