I have come accross a number of problems with yaffs booting after a system
part lockup.
The two instances were after copying a large single file using into a yaffs
directory (nfs mounted from the target onto a PC via ppp) stopped
responding.
I was able to drop and bring up ppp ok.
Logging into the target directly (over the serial link formerly used by ppp)
brought the target to a halt when it tried to access the yaffs tree.
The end of the errors read:
yaffs_lookup not found
yaffs_lookup for 262:source
yaffs_lookup not found
yaffs_lookup not found
yaffs_lookup for 262:ldconfig
yaffs_lookup not found
yaffs_readdir: starting at 0
yaffs_readdir: entry . ino 302
yaffs_readdir: entry .. ino 301
After which the shell ceased responding.
