Hi,
I am new to the list. I have been reading through the archives online for a
couple of weeks.
I am a software developer, mainly working in Java but do write some stuff in
C. I mainly work on Linux.
I have recently become involved in embedded software on a project based on the
phillips LPC2214 (ARM 7).
I want to get more involved in the embedded market and am looking to get a
start with an ARM based board that can run linux.
The Balloon seems like a good option. I see that the b3.0 prototype boards
have just been delivered. Should I wait until a b3.0 board is available or
should I start experimenting with the 2.05g? Are there going to be
significant changes in the linux kernel from 2.05 to 3.0?
Cheers
