I want to be able to remote reset my balloons (and potentialy other similar
devices).
Do we have an easy way of doing this?
I cam across this:

which needs 2 pins on your parallel port and is trivial to make.
However the balloon JTAG dongle is plugged into my parallel port. Are we
using all the output pins already on that so I can't just wire up two more
to this? I assume so.
I suppose I need to wire up the parallel port on another box instead for
this purpose.
A more general solution would be a little ethernet box that had some
isolated reset ouputs. I can find this sort of things for big servers that
controls the mains (at suitable expense) - anyone know of a reasonably cheap
thing?
