Subject: [Yaffs] root fs mounted readonly
Hi everyone,

I'm using YAFFS(1) on a ts7250 board. When it boots, it complains about
several bad eraseblocks, and then the root fs is mounted readonly.

I'd prefer it obviously if the root fs was mounted rw, and i've tried
putting a 'mount -o remount,rw /' as the first line in my /etc/rc.d/rc.S
file.

Any suggestions? Any insight into why this is happening?

Actually, this only occurred after I rebuilt the kernel I was using. The
last build was in May of last year.
